At the heart of LUMA lies a cuisine inspired by the Nikkei philosophy – a unique culinary style born from the fusion of Japanese precision and Peruvian spirit. Japanese immigrants who settled in Peru began blending the techniques they knew with local ingredients. The result is an explosion of freshness, contrast, and exquisite harmony of flavors.
At LUMA, we place great importance on the quality of our ingredients – they are the foundation of every dish. Meats, fish, and seafood are delivered several times a week, always fresh and carefully selected for their flavor and origin. Our menu also features exotic products imported directly from Asia – from yuzu and miso to fermented spices and dried bonito flakes. At the same time, we support local suppliers – vegetables, herbs, bread, and selected ingredients come from trusted producers in the region. This harmonious blend of global and local sources of flavor translates into authenticity and freshness in every plate.
Our menu features original takes on ceviche, a selection of sushi and sashimi, seafood dishes, as well as bold wok creations, char siu pork belly, slow-roasted ribs, steak, and fish prepared in an Asian style. The menu is dynamic – it changes with the seasons, and some dishes are offered in limited editions.
